The National Committee of Lawyers in the Council of Saudi Chambers elected the lawyer Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Falaj as its Chairman, the lawyer Mr. Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Khuraisi and the lawyer Mr. Muhammad bin Damian Al-Anzi as Vice-Presidents for the new session of the National Committees of the Council of Saudi Chambers (1435 AH – 1438 AH) during a meeting recently held at the Council’s headquarters in the presence of A number of jurists in the committee discussed a number of issues related to the legal sector in the Kingdom.
The election process took place in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General for Legal and Administrative Affairs at the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Saud Al-Mishari, who welcomed the participants and extended his thanks and appreciation to the presidency and members of the committee in its previous session for their efforts and positive results in the service of the legal sector, wishing the committee all success in its new session and success.
After their election, the committee chairman and his two deputies expressed their appreciation and thanks to the committee members for the great confidence they placed in choosing them to assume these positions, promising to make more efforts to advance the committee’s work and achieve more gains for the national legal sector in the Kingdom and work to overcome the difficulties facing workers in this sector in a way that enables them to Perform their roles assigned to them within the justice system.
The Chairman of the Committee, Lawyer Abdullah Al-Falaj, valued the support and attention that the National Committees continued to receive from the Council of Saudi Chambers and their support for them in all their activities and harnessing its capabilities to serve its objectives, and said that the committee will continue its work and efforts to meet the needs and aspirations of the national legal sector in the Kingdom in terms of incentive systems, training and rehabilitation as possible The Saudi lawyer was able to carry out his duties in front of the legal and judicial references as a basic partner in the justice system and chief assistant to achieve its directions in extending justice and upgrading the Saudi lawyer and the legal profession and spreading the legal and legal culture among all members of society in light of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques project – may God protect him – to develop the judiciary facility and the Board of Grievances.
He drew attention to the recent positive developments in the legal sector, represented in the Ministry of Justice’s decision to grant law firms the authority to issue agencies and document sales and contracts, and added that the committee’s meetings with legislative, judicial, and executive agencies such as the Ministry of Justice, the Board of Grievances, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Public Prosecution Authority and the Experts Commission will continue to discuss the topics that It concerns the work of the committee and helps achieve its professional goals and activate its judicial role.
It is worth noting that the National Lawyers Committee is one of the committees affiliated with the Council of Saudi Chambers and aims, through its various activities, to support and develop the legal sector in the Kingdom and to upgrade its services and strengthen its role in the justice system.
